Overview

Trisuli is the most popular white water rafting river which is ideal for the novice as well as experienced rafting enthusiasts. It is the nearest and easily accessible river from Kathmandu valley. so, rafting on this river can be easily organized. Trisuli offers a plenty of excitement to the first time rafters. Rafting to the Trisuli River follows the national highway where you pass through fascinating valleys, amazing gorge, rolling rapids along the way with its own relaxing section and makes a trip a wonderful experience. You can even continue onward to Chitwan, Pokhara or Kathmandu. The usual trip in this river lasts from 1 to 3 days.

Most of the river is unsuitable during the certain season but Trisuli River is open to the ardent rafter even during the peak monsoon. The swollen waters along with lots of challenges makes the river an exciting trip. It rises from Langtang Himal with impressive gorge and exciding grade 2-3 rapids.

Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu to Charaudi
It takes 1/2 to 2 hours to reach at Charaudi for a tourist by bus or micro, which is a starting point of rafting. The journey continues up to Kurintar at the first day of your trip. Then you will be taken to your destination where you will get your dinner and camp.

Day 02: Kuringhat
Take breakfast early in the morning and start. Moving towards Kuringhat is wonderful experience. At Mugling, the Trisuli and the rumbling Marsyangdi confluence. The trip lasts at a point called tea pot. You have options to move to Kathmandu or head on to Chitwan for safari in a jungle of Chitwan National Park.
