Overview

Annapurna Sanctuary Trek the most enchanting and popular destination amongst the trekkers in Nepal lets you witness the glorious views and pass through the arresting hill terrace accommodating at relaxed and clean local teahouse or lodges. From the Annapurna Base Camp, the significant part of the Annapurna Sanctuary trek you can observe the striking views of gigantic peaks which look stupendous when the first rays of sun fall in the peaks in the morning as well as in the evening when the sun sets. Best season

The best season to go for Annapurna Circuit trek is October and November though it can be preferred throughout the year. Spring is also good choice because of warmer temperatures. Talking about summer, some trekkers prefer to go but this the season when the place will have lots of leeches.

Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1300m)

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our representative of Peaceful Himalaya Trekking at Kathmandu International airport and then you will be transferred to hotel. You can relax for the rest of the day and in the evening you can enjoy dinner with Nepali cultural dance. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today, you will be go around different world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley; the sacred temple of Hindu, Pashupatinath; the world’s biggest Stupa, Boudhanath; Swoyambhunath Stupa  which is also known as the monkey temple; and historical Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will also visit Kumari broadly known as Living Goddess in Basantapur, Kathmandu. You will also go around Patan Durbar Square which is rich in historical art and architecture. Overnight at hotel again.

Day 03: Kathmandu-Pokhara

After breakfast, today you will be drive by bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Also, you have an option of taking the scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara which lets you to experience flying over the three peaks above 8000m.Upon your arrival in Pokhara, you will move to the hotel. After relaxing for some time, you can walk to lakeside. Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 04: Pokhara-Nayapul and trek to Ulleri

Today early in the morning after having our breakfast, we will drive to Nayapul and stroll all along the path and after that go downhill from the trail and walk beside a river to reach Birethanti at 1,025m. We will be walking uphill for a couple of hours to Hille (1,475m).  We can have a glance of many streams, waterfalls, tropical plants, and also greenish fields. We cross the bridge in Tikhedhunga and stroll uphill for around 40 minutes and get to Ulleri (1,960m). Overnight in Ulleri.

Day 05: From Ulleri to Ghorepani

Today we have a tough day and our trail climbs and descends through the hills, then a staircase leads us upward and then we will pass through the settlements and we arrive at tea-houses as it moves up. Then, we can notice the first vista of Annapurna South. Climbing further up, we go into a wooded area filled. Further ahead from Banthanti we can perceive the vegetation widening. Then, up at a narrow vale, we got to go up more stairs till we arrive at Nangathanti (2,520m). From here with another one hour climb, we will arrive at Ghorepani. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 06: Ghorepani to Tadapani

On this day, we go to Poon Hill to observe arresting sunrise view over the Annapurna Range and Dhaulagiri.  After that we return back to our hotel and proceed through the trail that takes us to the north side along the edging line with magnificent views of the Annapurna widening from east to west. We walk next to the woody crest for a while and we after that come down after passing a small settlement before going into a dense forested ravine. Eventually, the gorge widens and the trail enters an open region and moves downward again before we ascend through dense wood to Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 07: From Tadapani to Chomrong

Today, our way moves downhill and passes again through the forest to reach Chomrong. We arrive at terraced fields on the face of a deep valley and we keep on trekking unless we once more climb suddenly move up the opposite face of the valley. And walking for a while, we will enter the larger Modi River valley which leads us to reach the Annapurna Sanctuary. We arrive at Chhomrong finally after moving for some time leaving Modi khola. Overnight in Chhomrong.

Day 08: Chhomrong – Dovan

Today the trail will let us pass through the beautiful views of oak, rhododendron and hemlock and the area is an attraction for bird lovers. After next two hours of walking, generally up vertical hills, we arrive at the community of Sinuwa at an elevation of 2,340m, which is the last settlement before Bamboo. We go after the valley mountaineering gradually uphill to Doban (2505m). Overnight at guest house in Dovan.

Day 09: Dovan - Annapurna Base Camp

From Dovan today our trail moves up high over the river, on the plane moraine, and downward the other face to the glacier. Walking up to the bed of the glacier, we arrive at Annapurna Base Camp which lies at an altitude of 4130m. Overnight at camp in Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp – Bamboo (2210m.)

Today, we begin our trek climbing up to the standpoint for a fabulous sunrise view. After breakfast, we make way to Bamboo. Overnight at camp in Bamboo.

Day 11: Bamboo- Chhomrong

On this day, our track moves from Bamboo descends a long, stone staircase through bamboo and rhododendrons jungle to Kuldi. The trail moves down to Sinuwa. From Sinuwa the path leads downward to the Modi River and we then climb vertically to Chhomrong. Overnight at guest house in Chhomrong.

Day 12: Chhomrong- Ghandrung

From Chhomrong the path heads back to Taglung, and then moves down gently through forests to reach Kummu. We steadily move down the path to Ghandrung where there are outstanding views of Annapurna South. Overnight at guest house in Ghandrung.

Day 13: Ghandrung- Pokhara

From Ghandrung today we will trek down all the way through terraced fields and villages to Syauli Bazaar and then moves to Nayapul. Here we transport back to arrive at Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 14: Pokhara – Kathmandu

We today take the bus to Kathmandu from Pokhara, where you have the alternative of taking flight too and return back to Kathmandu with the unforgettable experience which you can never forget.

In Gosaikunda 2014 November...

We took two groups to Gosaikunda at December 2014. We sent two guides with each seven and five groups. It was very successful trip of our company as before. Every travelers of Korea and Norway became lot of happy to visit there. Again they will arrive here in same company to visit ghorepeni poonhill trek.
